Smocked Lee with DMC Scalloped Edge

How beautiful is this Lee sewn by Melissa Sansom?! Made in a classic pink floral from Fabric Finders, Melissa smocked a beautiful geometric from Ellen McCarn with an added mirrored row in the lighter pink rows. For the sleeve, she just left off the sleeve band. No change to the sleeve pattern piece. It is hemmed and makes a pretty bell-shaped flutter. She chose a ruffle collar (see blog for instructions) and because she didn’t have a trim to match, see created a scalloped edge using DMC on the ruffle and sleeve (see blog for instructions).
