Our Favorite Beginning Smocking Plates

Learning to smock and need a recommendation for the perfect first smocking design? We have compiled a list of our favorite geometric smocking plates perfect for beginners and those small projects with fewer rows. For a bishop/round yoke, choose from one of the bishop designs. For a straight yoke, you can choose designs from either section depending of your project. Many of you may remember our sweet Pat Boudreaux. She loved smocking, and she loved helping our customers plan smocking projects. We've marked her favorites with her signature strawberry.
