Knit Blouse with Knot Sleeves

You've got to have a comfy blouse to match all of your favorite skirts! We created this knit blouse with some of our favorite Children's Corner Patterns. This blouse was made using white jersey knit from Art Gallery, shop our solid knits here. This soft knit shirt is a perfect shirt to tuck into a Suzie Skirt.

Instructions

It was made primarily using the Alex pattern for the body and collar and the Allie pattern as a starting point for the sleeves. Use techniques with for sewing with knits during construction. The construction of the Alex portion was done per the Alex pattern except that the facing and hem edges were serged. The collar was topstitched to finish and piping was not used. The sleeves are the long sleeve from the Allie pattern, shortened to 3/4 length and narrowed at the hem. The Knot Sleeve is a pattern modification and instructions for it are also available on the blog.
